just now , my philosophy teacher quote a section from the novel Alice’s adventures in wonderland to explain that we can’t image non-being without being like that Alice can’t image a smile without a caeshire cat. He has use lots of scene from that novel to interpret philosophy concept. Actually, not only philosophy,but many people from different fields research it from different aspects. Why a seven-chapter-long novel appealed so many people to read it , to study and to cite? there must be something unique in it.
Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (commonly shortened to Alice in Wonderland) is an 1865 novel written by English author under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll.it tells a story about alice who falls down a rabbit holet and lands into a fantasy world and experience some wonderful thing.Every chaper can be an isolated story and every story has its own character.you can feel some scene is absurd ,but you have to admit that someone’s words are reasonable. maybe you even deem that something is both logical and absurd and then you can learning the subtlety of author’s sarcasm.Here is an example. " ‘you see, miss’ said the first gardner，’these roses are white, but the Queen only likes roses, and she – …… " this plot vividly illustrated many public servants who waste time on ridiculous procedure.and satirize to depict to push with details in the person up all rose the decisive function in this novel. the queen in the novel is another good example,she always shouted “off with their heads!” Ironically, a group of people never know they behavior like the queen. they shout the way the queen shout
这里讽刺了那些每天忙碌的那些公务员，其实把大量的精力耗费在了可笑的地方。 还有那个每天喊着砍掉别人的头的红桃皇后，不可否认的是现在这样的人的依旧很多，这些人喜欢在不了解事情的原委的时候，就开始叫喊着要做点什么了，可是像那个红桃皇后从来没有砍掉过一个人的头一样，they never do what they said before.
但是艾丽丝和它们不一样，是个单纯率真的孩子，似乎是一个完美的女孩子。我猜想这可能和现实生活中的那个艾丽丝有关系，that alice is a dauthter of the ca’ ,some one think even want to marry with him but due to his age and against from her parents,alice marry to , alice’s third son named kar, is it really an accident? anyway alice inspired him to write an alice in his novel.1864年，艾丽丝得到的圣诞礼物就是这本小说，是他的手写稿件，后来在1865年这本小说出版了，so we can read such a sonderful story.
我强烈推荐这本小说，无论出于什么目的，读一读吧。可以作为学习写作技巧，可以研究那里面各种人的象征意义，或着仅仅是为了看看到底兔子洞下面有什么东西。
